New Entry?

Ok, so I haven't been doing the greatest at keeping this site updated lately.  Don't be surprised if you can't find me on here anymore pretty soon, cause I don't think I'm going to keep it...everyone's got Facebook!

Vacation? What's that?

Well, the busiest time of year for us is just about over!  Candidate Seminar is over, the missionary conference that I was heavily involved in is now over, and CMI is just about complete.  This week has been full of pulling everything together to finish the conference details (payments, bills, etc) and catching up from being away from my desk for a week.  I did get to take a day off to rest, but it doesn't seem to have been enough...as I sit here trying to down a cup of regular coffee and feeling more exhausted today than any other day so far this week.

In other news: my big brother will be in town visiting us next week, arriving on Saturday.  I'm looking forward to spending a little time with them, as last year when they were here, I was involved all week with the missionary conference.  This year, I am able to take the week off and hang out with them.  Beth is also still here and we've been having fun being with one another again.  I, especially, am looking forward to having fun with her next week as well, since we won't have to come into work.  She then returns to MI on Thursday.

I was thinking about taking a weekend and travelling up to WOL to see camp in full swing and to see some friends, but I've decided that I need a low-key weekend instead!  I hope to go up to visit some other time in the near future, but I'm not sure when that will happen yet.  I'm just not up to driving 12 hours (round trip) when I've been on the go for a month!  Although we don't have tickets yet, my parents and I...and Susan too...are planning to be in Washington State to see Mandy soon!  We don't have tickets yet, because I've been TOO busy to search for any.  Oops!

Well, besides trying to rest up from working way too many hours the last several weeks, not much else is happening.  I hope you all are doing well and have taken a big sigh of relief, knowing that I'm still alive since you've now heard from me!
